I've never heard the expression Arsenic Hour...is it one? It seems a bit odd, but anyway it's that just before dinner time when everything seems to be kicking off at home. It's very good advice for preventing chaos!

Dealing with an angry child
I'm really enjoying reading this web site. This article has been very useful for how to deal with my daughter's tantrums. It's so important to acknowledge what they feel, by saying "You are angry, aren't you?", or sad, or whatever. By telling them you understand their feeling, and feelings are ok, it helps them to deal with the emotion, rather than hitting out.

Dr. Laura Markham What's Wrong with Timeouts?
I've been interested in how to handle my little girl's tantrums these days.I found some good advice in this following article. It involves asking your child about their feelings, helping them through them, and not getting too emotional yourself.
